Concrete Pavement Specification Guide
The Wisconsin Concrete Pavement Association (WCPA) is dedicated to promoting and constructing a high quality concrete pavement. In order to meet the needs of our municipal and county industry partners we have created the WCPA Concrete Pavement Specification Guide to help in the develpment of concrete pavement project specifications for local roads, streets and county highways. The goal of this guide is to assist contracting agencies with the development of concrete pavement specifications and to provide a baseline for consistency between contracting agencies in Wisconsin.
The WCPA is encouraging municipalities and counties to adopt the WCPA Portland Cement Concrete Pavement Specification provided within the guide and modify it for local conditions, preferences, and construction practices via contract special provision. As you use this guide and the included specifications please feel free to inform us of any comments or suggestions regarding improvements to this guide by contacting a staff person at WCPA. It is our intent to review this guide and update the specifications within the guide on an annual basis and incorporate any revisions deemed necessary in order to meet the evolving needs of our industry partners and contracting agencies.
