2011 CONCRETE PAVING INSPECTION WORKSHOP

The primary objective of the WCPA / WisDOT Concrete Pavement Inspection Guide is to educate the concrete pavement inspector for the purpose of ensuring “Good Practices” during the concrete pavement construction process. Proper inspection plays a key role in providing a well-constructed high quality pavement and can influence performance quality and the ride quality. WCPA developed course and guide for municipalities in 2008 and the “Pilot” Course was given in May 2009. The manual and PowerPoint development was done with WCPA as the lead and WisDOT providing review and approval.
